Cozy family restaurant serving American fare for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Soups made from scratch, a variety of sandwiches, burgers, fried chicken, and a great selection of house-made pies. Service is great, friendly and attentive staff. Family who live in the area regularly eat here, it's one of their favorite places.
Fresh Lake Erie perch was absolutely delicious. Huge baked potato was cooked just right. Salad was fresh with creamy homemade ranch dressing. Friendly and efficient service. Will be back next time we are in the area. Definately want to try their homemade pies!
Good good, home cooking. Not fancy by any means but a great restaurant. Breakfast is delicious! They have these big pieces of toast with a frosting/glaze kinda topping they put on it which is out of this world. Dinner isn't as good as breakfast but they do have homemade pies for dessert which make it worth the trip! Staff is very friendly and down to earth.
Had a wonderful dinner. Everyone so nice. They were so very accommodating my allergies and worked really hard to make my meal great. This was an old hang out in high school MANY years ago so it's like going home. I moved away years ago and it was so nice to see people I hadn't seen in years. I even got to meet my grand niece that I had only seen pictures of.
Excellent food and can't beat the prices! We're from the city and can't believe we happened upon this gem. This is a classic diner with old fashioned milkshakes and homemade pie. Soup was excellent. Friendly staff. Don't hesitate; you'll be glad you went.
